# Roomful

> Roomful is a Shopify app for selling tickets to classes, workshops and events from your own Shopify store. Put your classes, workshops and parties on sale in your own Shopify store. People pick a session, pay at your usual checkout and get a ticket that turns up. At the door, any phone checks them in.

## Who it is for
Small businesses on Shopify that run in-person classes and events: pottery and art studios, yoga and wellness sessions, cooking and baking courses, roller-skate sessions, tours, workshops and community nights.

## How it works
1. Make the event: Date, sessions, price, spots. Running it again next week? Duplicate it.
2. Put it in your shop: Add the Roomful block to any page. People pay at your normal Shopify checkout.
3. Open the door: Open check-in on any phone. Scan the QR code, or type a name.

Every buyer gets a ticket by email with a QR code and an add-to-calendar button, in the event's own time zone. Last week's class takes itself off sale.

## Check-in at the door
Open the check-in page on whatever phone is in your pocket. Scan the QR code, or type a name if they've lost the email. It stays signed in until the last guest is through.

Free while we launch. Every feature, no fee on any ticket, nothing to pay. Install it and start selling.

- Shopify's normal payment fees still apply. Those go to Shopify, not us.
- No card and nothing to cancel. Uninstall whenever you like.
- Your guest lists download as a CSV from any event, any time.

## Facts
- Events are real Shopify products; each session and ticket type is a variant, sold through the normal Shopify checkout.
- Ticket emails include a QR code and an add-to-calendar file in the event's own time zone.
- Sessions can share one pool of spots across ticket types (for example Adult and Child), so they never oversell.
- Roomful is not affiliated with Shopify.
